Description
Sujok, also known as Su Jok Therapy, is a holistic healing method developed by South Korean philosopher and scientist, Prof. Park Jae Woo. The term “Su Jok” itself translates to “hand and foot” in Korean. The therapy is based on the concept that the hands and feet represent microcosms of the entire body, and by stimulating certain points on these extremities, one can treat corresponding areas or organs of the body.
Sujok Therapy involves the use of various techniques such as acupressure, acupuncture, magnet therapy, and moxibustion on specific points corresponding to the problematic areas of the body. It aims to restore balance and harmony within the body’s energy system, promoting natural healing and relieving symptoms of various physical and emotional ailments.
The therapy is non-invasive and can be used as a standalone treatment or in conjunction with other conventional medical approaches. It’s gained popularity worldwide for its simplicity, effectiveness, and accessibility.
