Ankle Osteoarthritis

If there is unnecessary pain in the feet, then do not take normal

Ankle osteoarthritis is a chronic degenerative joint condition that along with pain disturbs our balance and stability of the body and thus overall quality of life.

What happens in ankle osteoarthritis?

Our ankle is basically a stable joint made up of 3 bones which are covered by a protective layer of cartilage, which allows free movement amongst the 3 bones. Over a period of time or any trauma to the ankle joint can gradually wear away the cartilage making the bones rub against each other causing pain, stiffness,
inflammation and loss of function.

Symptoms

  • Stiffness with pain that is worse in mornings
  • Inflammation on one side or all around the joint
  • Difficulty in walking

Causes

  • Ankle injury
  • Being overweight
  • Repeated stress on ankles
  • Age
  • Misaligned ankle joint

At our `Monisha’s Mantra`, we have helped patients to treat their Ankle Osteoarthritis problem, without Medicine, without Surgery and withiout any Side-effect; in the following manner:

  • Avoid junk, processed, outside foods and aerated drinks. Anti-inflammatory diet plays an important role for treating osteoarthritis
  • Reduce weight because being overweight puts repeated stress on ankle joint
  • Regular light stretching exercises for ankle joints
  • Sujok Therapy:
    1. Acupressure – Move with slight pressure Sujok ring on the distal joint of middle fingers, which corresponds to ankle joint for 25-30 times. Do it for 4 times daily (as shown in Pic 1)
    2. Seed Therapy – Daily at night apply a line of buckwheat (kuttu) seeds with micropore tape on stimulated distal joint of middle fingers (as shown in Pic 2)

Xerosis (Dry Skin condition)

ALERT. It is a serious Skin Disease. It has the potential to cause Premature Ageing and Infections in the Skin

Xerosis is a common abnormally dry skin condition which affects millions of people especially during the winters. If not treated it can lead to premature skin aging and skin infections.

Symptoms

  • Rough, dry, flaky, scaly skin
  • There is itchiness and inflammation when the dryness is excessive
  • Fine to deep cracks on skin which can bleed
  • Tightness of skin
  • Slight to severe peeling of skin

Causes

  1. Deficiency of natural moisturizing factors (NMF) present in the skin
  2. Underlying factors like diabetes, hypothyroidism and side effects of certain medications
  3. Environmental low humidity during winters and hot summer
  4. Unhealthy eating habits resulting in deficiency of essential nutrients
  5. Stress
  6. Aging because with age skin produces less oils needed to retain Moisture

At our `Monisha’s Mantra, we have treated and helped many individuals to get rid of their xerosis skin condition permanently in the following manner, without using Medicine and without any Side-effect.

  • Drink loads of water because dehydration can lead to dry skin condition
  • Avoid caffeinated and aerated beverages
  • Eat healthy because nutrients like vitamin C, E and B vitamins and minerals help in nourishing the skin
  • After bath daily apply natural moisturizer consisting of equal amounts of glycerin, lemon juice and coconut oil
  • Practice yoga-pranayama regularly
  • De-stress with daily smile meditation
  • Sujok Therapy:
    1. Magnet Therapy – Daily apply bar magnet for 2 hours on distal joint of both index fingers, sideways with yellow part towards nail (as shown in Pic 1)
    2. Nail Therapy – Rub olive oil/ghee on all 20 nails regularly for 10 minutes, twice daily (as shown in Pic 2)

Bronchiolitis

If your cough is stubborn, then be alert. It is possible that, later this condition of Bronchitis will progress towards lung failure

Bronchiolitis is a viral infection of the lungs mainly caused by the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), rhinovirus and influenza (flu) virus. It causes the small airways (bronchioles) in lungs to swell and fill with mucus making breathing difficult.

Symptoms

  • Cough
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Fever
  • Wheezing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Vomiting after eating
  • Fatigue

Types

  • Viral bronchiolitis is common in children
  • Bronchiolitis obliterans is a rare, dangerous condition seen in adults caused by serious lung infections or chronic exposure to toxins in air. It can lead to permanent scarring in bronchioles that can progress to lung failure

Risk factors

  • Low immunity
  • Continuously exposed to cold conditions, allergens or toxic chemicals in environment

At our `Monisha’s Mantra`; we have helped individuals and Treat their Bronchiolitis in the following manner, without Medicine and without any Side-effect.

  • Practice Anulom Vilom pranayama for 10 minutes, twice daily
  • Avoid packaged and fried foods, aerated drinks, refined sugar, outside foods and dairy products
  • Daily drink immuno-herbal tea:
  • Boil in 1 cup of water -lemongrass, crushed ginger, mint, 5-6 tulsi leaves, pinch of pepper, cinnamon powder and rock salt for 5 minutes. Switch off heat, add jaggery and lemon juice before drinking
  • Sujok Therapy:
    1. Apply ginger juice on inner side of palm from thumb up to lifeline daily before sleeping. This area corresponds to respiratory tract (as shown in Pic. 1)
    2. Apply slice of raw turmeric on inner side of middle joint of index finger(as shown in Pic.2)
