Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a condition characterized by slow, progressive loss of kidney function over a period of time. Our kidneys are fist-sized organs located below rib cage on either side of lumbar spine

Functions of kidneys.

  • Filtration of waste products, excess water and toxins from blood.
  • Regulation of pH, salt and potassium levels.
  • Production of hormones to regulate blood pressure and control.
    RBC production.
  • Maintenance of bone health and muscle function.

  • High blood pressure

  • Heart disease
  • Nerve damage
  • Kidney failure
  • Poor nutritional health

  • Changes in lifestyle:
    1. Healthy eating habits
    2. Disciplined sleeping pattern
    3. Drink 8 glasses of water
    4. Stop smoking and reduce intake of alcohol
    5. Increase in physical activity to maintain healthy weight
    6. Control in blood pressure and blood sugar levels
  • Sujok Therapy:
    1. Acupressure – Find the corresponding painful points of
      kidneys on the back of hand and massage clockwise-
      anticlockwise with diagnostic probe or pen, pencil. Do the
      massage for a minute, 4 times daily (as shown in Pic 1)
    2. Seed Therapy – Apply Raajma beans with adhesive tape on
      the stimulated corresponding kidney points, regularly at
      night (as shown in Pic 2)
