Diabetic Neuropathy - Natural ways to treat without Medicine, without Surgery and without any Complication (Part- IV)

Diabetic neuropathy is one of the most common type of complication experienced by more than 50% of diabetic patients. High blood sugar levels can damage the nerves throughout the body.

Types

  1. Peripheral neuropathy is the most common type and affects feet, legs, hands and arms. Symptoms are worse at night and include numbness, tingling, burning sensation, sharp pains, sensitivity to touch and it can lead to infections, foot ulcers, bone damage.
  2. Proximal neuropathy causes muscle weakness specially in thighs, hips and buttocks.
  3. Autonomic neuropathy includes symptoms like irregular heart rate, excessive sweating, dizziness, inability to control bowel and bladder functions and difficulty in swallowing
  4. Focal neuropathy affects one specific nerve generally head nerves that go to eyes or torso and legs.

  • Uncontrolled blood sugar levels
  • High blood pressure
  • Obesity
  • Unhealthy diet
  • Sedentary lifestyle
  • Smoking

  • Exercise on regular basis in the form of brisk walks and yoga
  • Sujok Therapy:
    1. Acupressure – move Sujok ring on each finger with slight pressure from tip to base for 20-25 times, 2-3 times daily (as
      shown in Pic 1)
    2. Twist Therapy – Twist all joints of hands and feet 4 times clockwise-anticlockwise, 2-3 times daily(as shown in Pic 2)
