Lumbar Radiculopathy (Sciatica)

This is a painful condition, which keeps on spreading its legs, day by day

Are you suffering from lower back pain radiating up to the legs? Then it can be sciatica which is one of the common forms of Lumbar Radiculopathy.

What is lumbar radiculopathy?

Lumbar radiculopathy is a painful nerve condition caused by compression, inflammation or injury to spinal nerve roots in the lower back region. If the nerve roots of sciatica nerve are compressed then the radicular pain can radiate to the thigh, calf or foot directly along the course of the sciatica spinal nerve.

Symptoms

  • Lower back pain
  • Pain, numbness, burning sensation or muscle weakness that travels through buttocks, thighs, groin, calf or complete leg

At our `Monisha’s Mantra`, we have helped many individuals get rid of their sciatica pain naturally in the following manner, without Medicine,
without Side-effect and without any Surgery

  • Regular morning walks and gentle stretching exercises
  • Maintain healthy weight
  • Eat anti-inflammatory foods like ginger, turmeric, cherries, berries, fruits like apple, pineapple, papaya, oranges, nuts, seeds, millets to reduce the inflammation that will release nerve compression
  • Practice regular yoga-pranayama to strengthen the back and core muscles
  • Sujok Therapy:
    1. Acupressure – Find the sensitive corresponding painful points on the back of any hand with diagnostic probe, pen, pencil. Massage the painful points for a minute, 4 times daily(as shown in 1)
    2. Seed Therapy – Apply a line of 8-10 buckwheat seeds (kuttu) on micropore tape daily at night (as shown in Pic 2)

Pinched Nerve in Neck (Cervical Radiculopathy)

Do not ignore neck pain, it should be treated as soon as possible, otherwise there may be serious problems

Cervical radiculopathy commonly known as pinched nerve is a painful condition in which there is damage to nerve roots in the neck area (cervical spine). This results in compression and inflammation of the nerve roots thus affecting nerves attached to it. These cervical nerves are attached to shoulders, arms, hands, upper back and chest area.

Symptoms

  • Burning, sharp pain emerging from neck area and radiating to shoulders, upper back, arms or hands
  • Numbness and weakness in the muscles of shoulder, arm or hands
  • Pain on movement of arms
  • Weakened reflexes

Causes

  • Cervical spondylosis in which there are degenerative changes in spine due to age
  • Herniated disk in neck
  • Cervical stenosis is narrowing of spinal canal which compresses the nerves of spinal cord
  • Poor posture
  • Injury
  • Sarcoidosis is growth of inflammatory cells
  • Tumour
  • Infection

At our `Monisha’s Mantra`, we treat Cervical Radiculopathy in the following manner, without Medicine, without Surgery and without any Side-effect

  • Reduce intake of inflammatory foods like refined sugars, trans fats, processed and packaged foods
  • Quit smoking
  • Practice regular abdominal breathing exercise for 10 minutes, twice daily
  • Stay well hydrated
  • Sujok Therapy:
    1. Acupressure – Massage the back of thumb area, corresponding to neck with Sujok ring or Diagnostic probe for a minute, 4 times daily (as shown in Pic 1)
    2. Seed Therapy – Apply buckwheat seeds (kuttu) on the massaged area daily at night (as shown in Pic 2)

Axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA)

The longer you have axSpA condition, the more the risk of increaing Fracture of Bones

Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is a progressive form of inflammatory arthritis, where the main symptom is back pain. There is pain and swelling in spine and joints that connect the bottom of spine to pelvis (sacroiliac joint). Being a systemic disease, it can also affect other joints, tendons, ligaments and different parts of body.

If not treated on time bones and joints of spine start fusing from base of spine causing acute pain, stiffness and difficulty in movement.

The disease can occur at any age, but typically begins between ages 20 and 40.

Types

  • Radiographic (Ankylosing Spondylitis) – Bone damage is seen in X-rays
  • Non-Radiographic (nr-axSpA) – Bone damage is not seen in X-rays in spite of symptoms

Symptoms

  • Pain and swelling in lower back, buttocks and hips
  • Morning stiffness
  • Weakness
  • Abdominal pain
  • Eye inflammation
  • Persistent pain for more than 3 months

At our `Monisha’s Mantra`, we have treated many patients, by our treatment, and help them to overcome form their axial spondyloarthritis condition, without using Medicine , without Surgery and without any Side-effect; in the following manner.

  • Anti-inflammatory diet is most important part of treatment. Reduce intake of refined sugars, processed and outside foods, baked foods, aerated cold drinks, alcohol and wheat products
  • Gentle stretching exercises and morning walks reduce stiffness and improves mobility
  • Sujok Therapy:
    1. Gentle massage on back of palm, in between middle and ring finger with a Magnetic roller or fingers for a minute, 4 times daily (as shown in Pic 1)
    2. Apply a line of buckwheat seeds (kuttu) on the massaged area daily at night (as shown in Pic 2)
