How many of us are aware that skin problems are one of the common complications of diabetes? According to research studies 1 in 3 diabetic patients will develop skin disorder at some point. Diabetes and skin problems can be very challenging but there are simple natural ways to manage without medicine!

How diabetes causes Dry Skin

High blood sugar levels make the body produce more urine to remove sugar by extracting water from cells, thus dehydrating the skin. This results in dry skin which can over a period of time crack, peel or become itchy and further lead to infections and skin disorders. Also
neuropathy and poor blood circulation combine to increase risk of skin disorders.

Types of Diabetes-related-Skin disorders

  • Pruritus (itchy skin)
  • Xerosis (dry skin)
  • Fungal and bacterial infections
  • Acanthosis nigricans (thickened dark skin)
  • Blisters
  • Dermopathy (scaly colored patches)
  • Digital sclerosis (hardened skin and stiff toes and fingers)
  • Vitiligo (discolored skin)

At our `Monisha’s Mantra`, we help Diabetic patients to treat their skin disorders problem, without Medicine and without any Side-effect,in the following manner:

  • Maintain blood sugar levels with healthy diet consisting of more vegetables and fruits, include brisk walks and regular exercise and drink minimum 12 glasses of warm water daily
  • Sujok Therapy:
    1. Apply bar magnets on first joint of index finger with yellow
      part towards tip on outer side daily for 2 hours (as shown in
      Pic 1)
    2. Stimulation of pancreas corresponding point on left side of
      palm with diagnostic probe or thumb for a minute, 4 times
      daily (as shown in Pic 2)
